Shearing & Worming

It has been said the 3 most important things for caring for your llama is worming, worming, worming!   Worming must be done, at the least, every ten weeks.  This is not a "luxury item" that can be disregarded.  Meningeal worm infection is almost always fatal.  The only "cure" is prevention.  This is essential to the health of your llamas.  Llama Shearing Specialist Duane Reeves offers this service year around with injections,  Ivomectin and Dectomax, or paste, Panacur.  If you don't have your llamas on a regular worming schedule, now is the time to remedy that.  Give Duane a call or an email, if you truly want to give your llamas the best of care.

Shearing season will soon be here!  Every year Duane's schedule gets fuller and busier and January is NOT too early to call for your appointment.   As last year, shearing will be done by geographical area as travel time and fuel costs prohibit multiple trips to the same area.  If you reside in the northern part of Michigan or you reside outside of Michigan we strongly urge that you contact Duane, either by phone or email, as soon as you possibly can as he is already scheduling appointments for these areas.  If you reside in the far reaching areas mentioned and do not get your appointment scheduled prior to his being in your area it will be impossible for Duane to make multiple trips to these areas.  WE STRONGLY URGE YOU TO CONTACT DUANE NOW TO SCHEDULE YOUR 2010 APPOINTMENT!!
