Shearing Services that sets the standard!

Pine Meadows Farm is a family owned and operated business. We purchased our first Llama in 1994 and have grown to over 40  Llamas today.  We are located in Manchester Michigan which is 60 minutes west of Detroit. The gently rolling countryside, which is considered the beginning of the well known Irish Hills, is ideal for raising animals.    

 Our "employees"  are  3 generations of family working side by side.  Ranging in age from 11 yrs to 80+ yrs of age,  everyone pitches in where they are needed. Duane & Linda, along with their younger sons, Daniel & Matthew, do all of the farm work including feeding, grooming and shearing. Jason, Duane and Linda's oldest son, has recently married his fiance Layna and brought her into the family fold.  Layna has added a new dimension to the family and she and Jason will soon be moving closer to the farm. 

This is a hobby farm so Duane has a full time job as a Captain with the Wayne Fire Dept. working side by side with Jason, who has followed in his fathers footsteps.  Duane's schedule with the Fire Department gives him the time needed to fulfill his demanding shearing commitments. Linda is home full time, taking care of everything while Duane is at work or on the road shearing.  She also has to juggle school, hockey teams, scouts & 4 H !   They also do a lot of rescue work with different animals.
