                                  Happy New Year!  It seems impossible that 2010 is here yet it is.  Even though it is only January, Duane is looking ahead to this years shearing schedule.  Due to the economy, some llama owners chose not to shear in 2009.  This is taking a huge risk with the health of a llama.  It was indeed fortunate that the summer of 2009 was not at all normal in terms of temperature.  2010 promises to be much hotter!  We urge all llama owners to not take this risk this year and make arrangements to have your llama sheared.  Depending on how spring progresses this year Duane will begin shearing sometime in April.  While that seems like a long way off it will be upon us before we know it.  Call us today to schedule you spring appointment for shearing, worming and nail clipping!
